Production Process:

Design & DFM Analysis: Collaborate on button layout, tactility, and conductive pill placement. Provide Design for Manufacturability feedback to optimize the design.

Mold Fabrication: Precision CNC machining and EDM are used to create the mold cavity, ensuring accurate key shape, travel, and a smooth surface finish.

Silicone Compounding & Pill Placement: Conductive silicone rubber is mixed to specification. Conductive carbon pills are precisely placed into the mold cavity prior to molding.

Molding & Curing: The silicone is compression or injection molded around the conductive pills, forming a seamless, durable button with integrated conductive contacts.

Demolding & Flash Removal: Buttons are removed from the mold, and any minor excess material (flash) is carefully trimmed.
